About
Jose Ortega Elementary School is a K-5 public elementary school in the San Francisco Unified School District serving children and families for over 50 years.
1000 Cranes is the inaugural dance party fundraiser benefiting Jose Ortega Elementary School. Money raised will go towards art, science, and outdoor education programs.
1000 Cranes
The theme of the fundraiser was inspired by the paper cranes which adorn the backdrop of the school’s auditorium.
The crane has long been a symbol of peace and longevity. Folding one thousand paper cranes is an expression of hope, goodwill and the promotion of peace for all of mankind.
